Review: Sweet Savage Blood: Revelations by Carolina Courtland

The Sweet Savage teen romance continues as Dominique Castille and vampire Caden Hanover's passionate relationship heats up. Their bond is tested when Caden reveals his dark secret to her. Although she loves him, she struggles to accept him as a vampire. Dating a vampire wasn't part of her life plan.

Quentin's overwhelming desire for Madison causes him to take dangerous risks. He learns the hard way not to mess with a
Slayer when Madison does something worse to him than staking. She turns him into her vampire pet. Now the gorgeous, cocky vampire must be at her beck and call—and she has plenty of things for him to do.

Review:

I love that it literally picks up where the first one ends - same conversation, and the chapters continue instead of beginning at 1. It's as if She took her book and just cut it apart to make 2. You don't feel like you've missed anything in the transition!

The story progresses slightly faster in this book, but there is still a bit of filler, and some unnecessary details. The plot twists continue to throw you for a loop, and I find myself giggling at the side character interactions and wishing there are more scenes with them. Sometimes I wish they were the main characters...

At first I was thinking, I've heard this story before; High School cheerleader is the vampire slayer... Helllloooo Buffy (love the mention of it in the first book too, nice touch) but the effects of her blood on Quentin was an awesome twist and I love the way their story is progressing.

I have already started book 3!
