Review: Up From the Grave (Night Huntress Series #7) by Jeaniene Frost
There’s always one more grave to dig.
Lately, life has been unnaturally calm for vampires Cat Crawfield and her husband Bones. They should have known better than to relax their guard, because a shocking revelation sends them back into action to stop an all-out war…
A rogue CIA agent is involved in horrifying secret activities that threaten to raise tensions between humans and the undead to dangerous heights. Now Cat and Bones are in a race against time to save their friends from a fate worse than death…because the more secrets they unravel, the deadlier the consequences. And if they fail, their lives—and those of everyone they hold dear— will be hovering on the edge of the grave.
Review:
It's been a year since I've read anything by Jeaniene Frost, so I figured it was about time to read the latest in the Night Huntress series. (Or listen to it, in this case - I've had several purse orders lately, so listening to audio books is the only way I'll get any reading done! )
The author wastes no time getting to the action in this book. The story starts off with Don, the ghostly form of Kat's uncle, bringing some bad news; her friends, and former soldiers, are missing. As the story progresses you're hit with several plot twists that will have you gasping in surprise, and lots of action, both in the bedroom and on the battlefield. A lot of the series characters are in on the action in this book, almost as if Jeaniene is bringing the series to a close... or at least that's the feel I get from it.
Overall, it's another great book in the Night Huntress World!

Have you read the series, or any of the spin off series'? Opinions welcomed. :)
