My Review:
I was pleasantly surprised by this book. I was thinking, okay, here's another Fifty Shades of Grey knock off... but instead we are given an actual storyline with a good plot and excellent characters.
It was definitely a steamy read, there's more sex than story in this book for sure. The author did her homework too, there were things described in this book that I'd never even heard of!
The characters we full of sarcasm and quite witty causing me to laugh out loud on several occasions. There were a few plot twists towards the end that I didn't see coming, and that's always a good thing! I don't like being able to predict everything that will happen in a book, there's no fun in that.
My only criticism is that the book should have been checked for spelling and grammar mistakes one more time before being published. I catch myself focusing on the errors when reading and it distracts me from the story. Speaking of the story, for such a long book, there should have been more detail and time spent on the interesting parts of the storyline. There should have been just as much detail in the action scenes as there was in the sex scenes. It was almost as if the action at the end was thrown in there as an after thought.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book. I'd give it 4 stars, and definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a hot and steamy read. You may even learn a thing or two while reading it, it could double as a how to book. ;)
