It starts off great, I love historical paranormal romance... and then it flashes to present day.
Dominique is your typical teenage girl, Caden is an irresistible 200 year old vampire that thinks shes the reincarnation of his wife... what more do you need for a great plot? Maybe throw in a slightly crazy vampire cousin and a vampire slaying cheerleader.
The story is a little slow; there are some really great plot twists mixed in, but there is quite a bit of filler. It takes too long to get to the point at times. In the last few chapters the story really picks up, and then your hit in the face with an ending. Luckily I already have the next book loaded on my kindle, ready to go!
