BLURB:
Frustrated with her father’s demand she find a mate, Tawny does, but it’s not one that will receive her family’s blessing. Plus, her new love has no memory of his past…even his name.
Discovering an unconscious man who may be vampire, in the neighbor’s yard leads werewolf Tawny Howls down a love path that’s not going to make her father happy. She senses this man is different, but that doesn’t stop her attraction. Werewolves and vampires are traditional enemies, and it doesn’t help when he remembers nothing about his prior life.
Awakening to find a beautiful woman hovering over him, he remembers nothing of his past life. When Tawny decides to call him David, he’s fine with the name and the attention he receives from his nurse. But why does the scent of the prey she hunts excite him more than the food she cooks?
Can the strong attraction between a shifter and a vampire overcome years of distrust for each other’s species? Will the discovery of his true identity ensnare them in a battle that endangers their lives, in an effort to save mankind from Demon rule?

Once again I find myself in the paranormal world of Lizzie T. Leaf, and as always it's amazing. I love the characters she's created in these short stories and I can't wait to read more.
This is another great story filled with the sarcasm that I love so much, along with some humor - not quite as much as the previous installments, but still a few laugh out loud moments. This one is slightly more on the serious side, but I still enjoyed it and am looking forward to reading Dead Hot.
Tawny Howls was a New Orleans police detective; that is, until her father urged her to come home and be with her 'own kind'. And by that, he meant for her to come home and find a mate. That's right, Tawny is a wolf, but she doesn't want to mate 'for the good of the pack', she wants to marry for love!
When she finds an unconscious naked man in her neighbors yard all her cop instincts kick in, along with her body! When the man finally wakes, he doesn't remember who or what he is.
How will these two make it a relationship work when they are supposed to be enemies, and one can't even remember his life before Tawny?
